Student supports

We are committed to supporting the whole child. Students have access to school counselors, MTSS supports, academic interventions, career aptitude assessments, tutoring opportunities, attendance support teams, social-emotional resources, college and career planning, and individualized graduation planning. Through our Freshman Leadership Academy and intentional scheduling, student support systems, we work closely with families to ensure every Wildcat has the resources needed to graduate ready for the future.

Academics

Eastern Guilford High School offers a wide range of opportunities designed to prepare students for success after graduation. Students can enroll in Advanced Placement (AP), Honors, and College and Career Promise (CCP) courses to earn college credit while in high school. Our robust Career and Technical Education (CTE) program allows students to earn industry-recognized credentials in high-demand fields, including our newest Transportation & Logistics pathway.

Our students are delivering results. In 2026, 74% of graduates earned college credit and/or industry-recognized credentials, demonstrating our commitment to preparing students for both college and careers.

The Freshman Leadership Academy provides ninth-grade students with additional academic support, leadership development, and transition experiences that help build a strong foundation for success throughout high school.

Clubs and Student Life

Eastern Guilford High School students can choose from over 25 clubs to participate in, a variety of honor societies, leadership organizations, service projects, and career-focused student organizations. Students also enjoy opportunities in band, theater, visual arts, and athletics, helping them develop talents, leadership skills, teamwork, and school pride. We believe every Wildcat should find a place to belong and opportunities to lead.
